Tutorial
Well, I found out last night that my Linear Algebra prof accepted me into his Numerical Problem-Solving tutorial next year. Woohoo! Personalized instruction as far as it goes - calling him later to sort out my partner for the class. It's going to be really cool educationally since there'll be a lot more emphasis on our own working out an understanding of the material, plus we'll have more leeway in where we go with the class. Also, just one class meeting a week... heheheh. Good for a cleaner schedule next sem, although the preparation for the one meeting will likely be intense.

I really miss the many opportunities available in a liberal arts college like yours. Your experience there is really an enriching one.
It truly is, my friend. I have to say, though, I'm really impressed by the math stuff you've been thinking about. Whether due to having way too many 'enriching' things to do, or not spending enough time around the right people, I'm really segregating my work brain from my play brain, and I think they need to recombine.
