How I wish in school they'd have been able to hand us an exam and say "OK, you can use your textbook and your notes, don't talk to anyone about this till they're done, give it back in 24 hours." Taking a Math exam in bed with Bach and cookies - wunderbar! That and the luxury of being able to say "The answer will come to me at some point... I'll sleep on it." That translates to going to bed at 11.30 and getting up at 5.30 to congitate more while there are still 4 1/2 hours to work on the thing, starting fresh so the bias towards the work you've done previously doesn't affect you now etc.
That said, interludes like having to attend German presentations after getting through half of the work are very refreshing. Anyway that's all done with. Now for an entire afternoon and much of the evening in the music centre, listening to and playing for studio recitals. YAY!
