Concert's over! I think it was great! I played more notes last night, but I'm still happy because it felt better today. It's nice to be performing again :D Saw what looked like mikes set up above the stage so hopefully there's going to be a recording I can send home! Mozart, Glass and Stravinsky in 3 weeks :P
So now I get to enjoy Parents' Weekend, all on my own... which isn't going to be very different except that my friends will all be busy with their parents. Still have homework, job at Schow, there's Frosh Revue tomorrow (because of which I'm missing the Jazz Ensemble concert :'( It should be good though. Eric and Rashid rock!
I keep getting extra motivation for physics. We were just working on stuff in math on Wed, and that stuff just popped up on today's physics lecture - some change-of-variable integration. It was really amazing how neatly it worked out! Some of the QM stuff then showed up in the physics colloqium - the guy today spoke on 2D electron gases. I understood enough to be happy, though of course these things only work as far as giving a general overview of a topic. Still nice.
I'm going to celebrate with my bak kua
