And it's FUN! We had a little more free time today. After breakfast we had the academic life & well-being lectures. They were for the most part stuff about not breaking the honor code but the writing workshop head's was hilarious. Guess he does know his stuff ;)
Highlights of today: Academic info sessions - I got into Phys 151, I will be buying the iBook, as one of the profs uses it and the faculty is big on Macs :D:D:D, I will be doing Math 106 and most amazing, I placed into the 300-level German course! I was pretty shocked - my I B German was supposed to be the beginners' course :P Shioknya!
Had a cookout at the Sawyer lawn, the hamburgers were pretty good. Also had reception at the President's House, but I didn't actually meet the President, he was perpetually surrounded and I didn't think it would really mean all that much to crowd to the front just to shake his hand. Better if I earn the handshake through actual accomplishments, eh? After this we have the Rape and Sexual Assault presentation, which will apparently be good. After the Alcohol Awareness one, I can believe it. And after that, BOWLING! Haven't done it for so long, I will suck. But nvm, it'lll be fun anyway. It's an International Students thing. If we didn't have that I'd go swimming with my entry (10.30 pm man!) but I'll miss that. That's it for now, except I did my first load of laundry which I'll pick up on the way into Morgan :)
Tschüß!
