Bleh. Just when I thought things were going great.

7.00am. Decided to lie in for half an hour.
7.27am. Decided enough is enough and got up. There's snow outside. It snowed. YAY!
8.07am. Got out of shower, put clothes in washing machine. Went to breakfast. It's still snowing. YAY! YAY!
8.47am. Laundry done. Was in bathroom.
8.56am. Clothes in dryer. Now too late to get them out before class. Rats.
9.26am. Met Prof. Majumder, Physics Dept Head. Got a tour of his lab - more cool laser gadgets!
10.00am. Made it to Physics 210 class, a few mins late. Learned about hyperbolic trig functions. Was just discussing them at dinner yesterday. Neat.
11.10am. Back in room briefly. Loud water noises coming from heater pipes. Rashid says he hears them too. OK... Also, chatted briefly with AF.
11.30am. Just on time for Music 104. Funny stuff happened, e,g, Richard leaving a note for -"Ed" (Prof. Gollin) on behalf of Joe, who told us to let the prof know that he was going out to pick up 'some sheets'. Richard added a heart and :). Prof Gollin arrived, asked by Ed W. when he was going back to Thai Garden. Left note till Joe came back. Joe amused. Prof said it should be "Prof Gollin", not "Ed". Joe said he left note for Ed W. Much laughter. Prof Gollin figures we no longer have the nerves from Music 103. Interesting semester ahead. XD
12.20pm. Went to lunch with Dan(k), Scott S., Joe. Passed around performance stories, e.g. breaking piano strings, violin going out of tune in sun.
1.10pm. Start warming up for violin lesson. Lesson at 1.40 goes well. Played the whole first page of Bach E Major Solo Praeludium. Also most of first page of Dvorak A minor Concerto Mvt. 1. Happy - it's more than I played beginning of last sem. I've improved.
2.47pm. Get back to room. Rashid reminds me that 3.00 is in 13 mins, and not in a 'while' as I think it is. Find out that Prof Aalberts (<3) wants to know if I'd like to work as his asst. this sem. Have to sort out earning cap issues. Grab books and run to library for shift. Think maybe this is actually when I hear loud water sounds.
(Between 3 and 6) Prof. Aalberts drops by briefly. Pleasant conversation. I finish my Math hwk. Start on Physics, get about halfway, to around where we've covered in class. Yay. Back to room.
6.10pm or thereabouts. Really kinda freaked out by water. Rashid comes into room and finds out it's LOUD. Both of us freaked out. He wants me to call B&G. Me no like phone calls. Wander around vicinity to check if sounds audible elsewhere. Let Leah and Amber into building. Amber says it's normal for water-heating. I trust her. For now... Rashid yells for me. I think something catastrophic has happened with water. He says I have a phone call. *phew* I rush down. Pick up still-ringing phone. Get dial tone. AAAAARGH!!!! Begin blogging.
6.35pm. Finish post. DINNER!!!
6.37pm. Realize I left out stuff. Edit post. Water stops for 3 seconds. Cautious elation for 3 seconds then it starts again. Gah.
6.39pm. Water is not so noisy, at least. Improvement. May have actually stopped permanently. Skeptical elation. I'm done blogging this time. Updates on water situation soon. Now it sounds so quiet... eerie...
