Being Brief

I have little that I can/should talk about. Principles, principles. The only things of note in the last few days have been Uplands Presentation Day on Thursday, which is the reason I'm going out tomorrow - it got in the way of a planned outing. Actually it ended early enough that we could have gone on Thursday but we already made plans for Sat. Sorry for necessitating the change, people. I'll apologise tomorrow. Anyway tomorrow is less rushed I think. Other than that, today was last day of term for Uplands for this school year. Dropped in, signed yearbooks, said goodbye to teachers and went to Kassim Mustafa for teh tarik. Ended up too full to eat lunch so went home, too lazy to prepare lunch, so I ate a banana.

I had sort of forgotten how cool The Matrix was to watch. Watched a bit with TX before running off to take Loong to Gurney to meet Beng, Aster and my extremely old friends Pei Ling and Jolene whom I have been out of touch with since primary school. Played pool, where Pei Ling was very good at 9-ball, then we split into guys vs gals cos it was the simplest way to split and we three 'men' (I just like the sound of the phrase) all seemed to be doing dismally. Beng regained his honour in the 2nd game, when we'd switched to 8-ball. I was the recipient of a pair of flukes in the 3rd game, also 8-ball. After that Beng's and my egos were satiated so we played foosball a bit then headed over to play photo hunt next door. Very cramped with about 8 ppl playing (the girls' other frens showed up). Got close to a high score but didn't quite make it. Had 407k points. Can't believe people play till they have over 2,700,000!

That's about it. came home, got stuck in jam, didn't meet Uplanders at Sega's, sent Sien Loong home, didn't send Aster to where she wanted to go. The timing kinda got messed up, sadly. Going to make visa in KL next week.
